With Scandinavia and Minnesota generally sharing similar Nordic climates, the decision to design this small project in Minnetonka using a historic Norwegian vernacular came very naturally. Designed for active seniors, these 2,000 sq. ft. flats offer very comfortable shared and private living quarters for older couples and their guests. Private garages, elevators servicing only two residences at each floor, ten-foot-high or cathedral ceilings and full of light social areas (entry, living room, dining room and kitchen) come together to create a one of a kind, site specific design intended to offer a high standard of living to the senior market.
