Silicon Valley International Center, San Jose, California, United States
Part of the revitalization of North San Jose, this high-end mixed-use area is worthy of Silicon Valley’s international reputation. Minutes from the San Jose Airport, the Silicon Valley International Center has immediate connections to the world and offers a conference center, hotels, offices, condominiums, retail space, and recreational facilities. This complex design reinvigorates the entire surrounding area.
This plan outlines a unique and visionary redevelopment, which combines a mixed-use retail power center with office and housing components, anchored by an international level hotel and surrounded by five acres of natural park. The office development would fill a maximum of 600,000 square feet, and of the 2,000 total housing units incorporated into the design, 400 units would be designated as affordable housing. The retail component would fill a maximum of 500,000 square feet and would incorporate a supermarket, fitness center, and additional smaller shops surrounding the park.
