Cafe, Heredia, San Jose, Costa Rica

After exploring the site and surrounding areas, a one-of-a-kind, site-specific, mixed-use conceptual design emerged for this project. Respect for the local environment and heritage and respect for the land and the local inhabitants helped create an attractive community gathering place. The plan incorporates a variety of natural and man-made areas of interest for people of all ages and education and income levels to enjoy.
